1) The insurance contract is intermediated by the insurance agent Stebby OÜ, registry code 12231911,

The insurance agent acts on the basis of the authorisation received from ERGO Life Insurance SE Eesti filiaal (registry code 12025488, Veskiposti 2/1, 10138 Tallinn, hereinafter ERGO).

2) The insurance agent has been registered in the insurance intermediaries register kept by the Financial Supervision Authority. This registration can be verified on the Finantsinspektsioon (Estonian Financial Supervision and Resolution Authority) website (http://www.fi.ee/index.php?id=1998).

3) According to the authorisation received from ERGO, the insurance agent has the right to mediate ERGO health insurance contracts for insured persons (the client). Based on the information provided by the client, the insurance agent determines the client’s insurable interest and
requirements for the insurance contract and explains the contract to the client.

4) The insurance contract is subject to the Terms and Conditions of Health Insurance and the General Terms and Conditions of Health Insurance (https://www.ergo.ee/ergo-en/conditions-and-forms/conditions).

5) An insured event is an unexpected and unforeseeable event that occurred against the free will of the insured person during the validity of the insurance contract and under the conditions agreed upon in the insurance contract. Exclusions in which insurance compensation is not paid are listed in the Terms and Conditions of Health Insurance and the General Terms and Conditions of Health Insurance.

6) The sum of the insurance payment is stated in the insurance document. ERGO shall pay the insurance agent a commission of 15% of the insurance premium for the intermediation of insurance contracts.

7) The insurance contract is concluded and enters into force with the payment of the first insurance premium. The insurance coverage begins on the starting date of the insurance period specified in the insurance contract. The insurance coverage ends on the end date of the insurance period specified in the insurance contract. The insurance contract ends upon expiry of the insurance period, upon withdrawal from the contract, cancellation of the contract, or upon ERGO’s performance in full of its obligation after an insured event.

8) ERGO must be immediately notified of an insured event at the website www.ergo.ee or via the ERGO health insurance app.

9) Estonian legislation shall be applied to the insurance contract.

10) The client has the right to submit a complaint about the insurance agent’s activities to ERGO via the email address info@ergo.ee.

11) The client may turn to a conciliation body at the Estonian Insurance Association to settle a dispute having arisen with the insurer. Before a conciliation procedure, the claim in the disputed matter shall be submitted to the insurer and the insurer must be provided with an opportunity to reply to the claim. If the client is not satisfied with the reply from the insurer, the client may turn to an insurance conciliation body. Additional information is available on the Estonian Insurance Association’s website www.eksl.ee. Any disputes arising from insurance contracts, including disputes concerning which no agreement is reached at an insurance conciliation body, shall be settled in Harju County Court. A complaint concerning the activities of the insurer may be submitted to Finantsinspektsioon (Sakala 4, Tallinn).
